Why are we building Nuclei?
Nuclei is a product company working with 25+ leading BFSI and telecom enterprises.
Before we started Nuclei, we listed down a few guiding principles. These were essentially the learnings from our previous startups/companies:
Think big, think global
Build a sustainable company from various perspectives
Build for the long term, take long-term decisions.
Leverage distribution
All the above points came together to form Nuclei's vision - "To build a well-respected global product company."
What will you do?
Your role will focus on one core responsibility: owning the commercial and product strategy for Nuclei's travel business.
This means deeply understanding the travel landscape, shaping how we position and grow our travel offerings, and making the right product and commercial calls to drive category performance. You will work closely with product, partnerships, and sales teams to ensure travel is a high-performing, well-differentiated category within our platform.
We are looking for someone who can think strategically, move fast, and take full ownership of outcomes. Your day-to-day would include:
Defining the commercial strategy for the travel category, including pricing, margins, and partner mix
Analysing category performance and identifying opportunities to grow revenue, improve margins, and expand the travel catalogue
Working with product teams to shape travel-specific features, user experiences, and platform capabilities
Keeping a close eye on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behaviour to inform category decisions
Collaborating with partnerships teams to prioritise which travel suppliers and brands to onboard
Acting as the internal subject matter expert on travel, bringing structure and clarity to a complex, fast-moving category
Who should apply?
3 to 6 years of experience in category management, commercial strategy, or product management, ideally within travel, OTAs, loyalty, or a related industry
Strong understanding of the travel ecosystem, including airlines, hotels, holiday packages, and ancillary products
Commercially minded with the ability to think in terms of margins, unit economics, and revenue levers
Analytical and structured in your thinking; comfortable working with data to drive decisions
Able to work cross-functionally and influence without authority across product, sales, and partnerships teams
Highly independent and comfortable working remotely across time zones
Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus, given the global scope of the role
